A fantastic dish for sharing with friends
Delia created our Plummy Port Chutney specifically for this dish – think delicious gooey cheese partnered with port, plum and orange. Absolutely delicious, it makes a lovely warming autumnal lunch (or a light summer starter). It's great for sharing and completely effortless to make - a perfect party piece!

Preheat the oven to 220ºC. Remove the cheese from it's plastic packaging and place in an ovenproof dish (or back in it's own wooden container).
Meanwhile, stud the cheese with garlic slices and thyme sprigs and sprinkle with paprika.
Place in the oven and bake for 7–10 minutes.
Serve immediately, with a baby leaf salad garnish, fresh crusty bread and a liberal helping of Plummy Port Chutney.
Alternative: We think it tastes best with Plummy Port Chutney, as the tartness of the plum cuts through the cheese to create the perfect palate. However, you can substitute one of our other delicious chutneys.
You can do this on the barbecue if you have a kettle barbecue with a lid. You may want to wrap it in aluminium foil so that the wooden container does not catch alight - do take care!
