Our luxurious version of an old favourite is fantastic with vanilla ice-cream, wonderful in a brie and cranberry sandwich and simply superlative with poultry, goose and pheasant.

Most supermarket cranberry sauces are bulked out with apple and thickeners. Our luxurious version is pure berries, embellished with orange zest and laced with port. Once you have tasted our version, you will never want to compromise again.

It's unlikely you'll have any leftovers, but if you do it makes a wonderful Pheasant with Cranberry Sauce dish.

Delia says: "I wouldn't think of putting a cheap, bland cranberry sauce on my ice cream, but our pure berry version is irrestible with it's fresh orange and ruby port. "

Happy Accidents

That Worcestershire Sauce was an accident? When first made, the sauce tasted foul, but rather than throw it away, they put it in the cellar. When they found it again years later, they decided they had a winner.

We've not stored any for years, but we've had many happy accidents of our own, most notably with Raffles Tiger Relish™ and Delia's Natural Sweet Chilli Sauce™.

When we were at Ludlow Food Festival in 2007, we dropped a strawberry into the sweet chilli sauce by mistake - it was absolutely delicious. And so began our trend of serving the sauce with melon and strawberries. Not so mad an idea, when you consider that the Mexicans eat their fruit with chilli and sugar.

One day, when we were particularly busy, Delia's Dad put the wrong sugar into the Natural Sweet Chilli Sauce. Refusing to hrow it away, Delia decided to experiment. A little lemongrass here, a few raisins there - and a unique blend of asian-inspired spices to create her own Raffles Tiger Seasoning. Before you know it a new relish with an exciting new flavour was born. We just love happy accidents.
